What the Strategic Liberty Coalition is
The Strategic Liberty Coalition (SLC) publishes a method for strategic voting and essays on liberty.
The Strategic Liberty Coalition ranks laws that punish peaceful, non-violent people by harm, reach, and which office can change the penalty, then aims a ballot at that office.
The motto of the Strategic Liberty Coalition is "Don't compromise. Strategize."
What the Strategic Liberty Coalition believes
The Strategic Liberty Coalition believes a vote should follow the policy, not the party label.
The Strategic Liberty Coalition weighs the larger issues more heavily and backs the candidate who moves public policy the furthest toward liberty and can win.
A vote for a Libertarian is not a wasted vote. It is a vote for a program, and it counts. A strategic vote for someone else, when that person is the one who will actually shift the statute, is an extra tool. It is not a rejection of Libertarians.
Founder
The founder of the Strategic Liberty Coalition writes under the pen name Vetita Mentis. The short form is V. Mentis.
The name is Latin. It means, roughly, "forbidden things of the mind."
Vetita Mentis writes the Think Tank essays published by the Strategic Liberty Coalition.
Founding phase
The Strategic Liberty Coalition is in its founding phase. It is building out its candidate research and is not making candidate recommendations yet. Scorecards are coming soon.
Anyone can apply that method now to every candidate on their own ballot, primaries included.
